You’re on a deserted island but luckily you found your three most favorite books, what are they?

All Things Bright & Beautiful by James Herriot, The Secret Lives of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd and Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri

What contemporary writer excites you the most?

Mohsin Hamid

What does independent literature mean to you?

It unleashes bottled-up talent that has, for decades, remained squished for want of opportunities.

What color is the sky?

It’s always the same color – but appears cheery or dull depending on where you look up and see it from.
